In these applications, the steel industry, foundry industry and ferroalloy
industry is the largest user of ferrosilicon. They are consuming a total of more
than about 90% ferrosilicon. Currently the most widely used in various grades of
ferrosilicon, 75% ferrosilicon. In the steel industry, each producing 1t of
steel is about to consume ferrosilicon of 3-5kg75%.
